BALBAI Consulting was founded by Gulaiym Kalieva, a technology professional, entrepreneur, and trucking-industry business owner who understands how complex systems affect real businesses. Her experience in software quality, process improvement, automation, and transportation operations inspired a practical approach to helping owner-operators and growing carriers build stronger, more organized compliance systems.
Gulaiym founded BALBAI Consulting to bring technology, structure, and clear guidance to the administrative challenges facing small U.S. trucking businesses. Her long-term vision is to expand access to practical compliance education, standardized workflows, and responsible automation across the transportation industry.

Like millions before her, she came to America with little more than ambition and a backpack of degrees the system didn't immediately recognize. She learned fast — about banking, paperwork, taxes, and the unwritten rules no one tells you.
She rose to Lead Software Engineer at Caterpillar, shipping systems used across global operations. Discipline, rigor, and architecture became second nature.
After helping friends, cousins, and strangers navigate LLC filings, DOT numbers, and trucking authorities — for free, for years — she built Balbai Consulting to do it properly, at scale, with technology.
Today she's building the kind of firm she wishes had existed when she arrived: premium, modern, and powered by AI — so a single founder can run what used to take a team.
